We work in small teams which support the most senior officials in government (typically at ministerial or prime-ministerial level) to drive rapid reforms. Much of our day-to-day work involves helping officials to:
Plan and develop strategies
Use data and other information
Build capacity and skills throughout the system
Improve coordination and cooperation
Solve problems and challenges as they arise
Access international evidence and lessons about what works
Our project teams include a mix of experienced consultants from leading international consultancies (McKinsey, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger and others) and highly talented locally-hired staff. Our success depends on being able to attract good people and provide them with high quality professional development.
We have a number of open positions across Sub-Saharan Africa, South America and the Middle East to work on exciting new projects:
Sub-Saharan Africa: We are looking for fluent French and/or Portuguese speakers to work with Ministers of Health in three distinct locations on high impact areas of health system performance.
South America: We are looking for fluent Spanish speakers to work with government on high impact areas of health and education system reform.
Middle East: We are looking for fluent Arabic speakers to work in a GCC country on education system reform.
For all consulting roles we seek candidates with highly developed analytical, managerial and leadership skills.
Fluent English and fluent local language skills depending on location:
The projects in Sub-Saharan Africa require fluency in French or Portuguese
The projects in South America require fluency in Spanish
The projects in the Middle East require fluency in Arabic
2+ years at a major international consulting company
Experience working in the public sector, preferably in developing countries
Willingness to work in and travel to some hard places
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong drive and motivation
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Good communication skills
Interest in social issues
